I would like to share some of the pictures I have taken during my walks through woods, on beaches and just near my own home. Nature is a great subject to take pictures of!

Paper and Paris

As a little reminder to my trip to Paris in 2010 I took some paper and scissors and crafted this as a nice memory. I used a 13x18 cm canvas and paper mostly used for scrapbooking. It now hangs on my wall, so I can see it every day and dream of going back to the great city:Paris!

Euphoria

I was never a big fan of the Eurovision Song Contest, but still I watch every year (kinda crazy, I know). Always I am amazed about the crazy and awful songs that I hear. But this year it was different for me. I was watching the second semi final and heard Loreen sing the amazing Euphoria! I rooted for her to win the final, and she did! Amazing performance and a great song.

I love Efteling

Efteling is a fairytale themepark and the oldest themepark in Holland. Designed by Dutchman Anton Pieck, it started as a small recreational playground for kids. Since than, 60 years later, it has become the biggest themepark in Holland and still hasn't lost any charm. It is by far my favourite themepark. It has some great rides, a fairytale forest with all the well known fairytales like Snowwhite, Little red riding hood and Sleeping beauty. My favourite ride is called Droomvlucht, or in English Dreamflight. It takes you through a beautiful world of fairies, trolls, trees, flowers and aircastles! I always feel like a kid again when I visit Efteling. Here are some pictures of the park. I did not take these pictures and do not own them! Places I have visited

In the spring of 2010 I went to the capitol of France: Paris! Me and my best friend took the train to the centre of Paris, which from where I live in Holland is only a 2,5 hour journey. It was my first time visiting this beautiful city and I can't wait to go back. There is really no city like it. So much history, such beautiful buildings, wonderfull food and great shops. Everywhere you look there is something beautiful to see.

Cute ice cream maker

I recently came across this super cute ice cream maker from Cuisinart.

It's pink, has compartments for sprinkles....I want it bad! It is for sale on Amazon.com and for people outside of the US it's crazy expensive with the shipping and added costs. But hey, one can dream right!? Sweet dreams are made of this for sure.
