.....celebrate it! My new motto, do you like it?! My first artjournaling pages start with these exact words. Inspired by the awesome artjournaling class of Jenny and Aaron (which everyone is free to follow at their blog! I totally recommend it). I have wanted to start artjournaling for quite a while, but their class is exactly what I needed. I had no clue at how to start and what materials to use. So with their little nudge, I got started. I use a Forever Friends notebook by the way, just had to mention.
I am really happy with the result! Even if my balloonpicture is a bit bubbly due to the glue haha. I just used paper for my first time artjournaling. That just felt save to me. Next time I would like to try and use other materials as well. Maybe paint, stamps or even fabric. Do you like artjournaling as well? And what is your favourite material to work with? I would love to hear from you!
Looks great. I'd love to join in with Jenny and Aaron but I just can't seem to find the time:( Looking forward to seeing how your project goes :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I am excited about the project too. Hope you can join in when you find the time.

great start, Susie! I haven't artjournaled in a while, but I used to do it a lot (http://annikowo.blogspot.nl/search/label/art%20journal) and I liked it, it's very freeing :)
ReplyDeleteI love looking at other people's art journals and I have two absolutely favorite artists:
1. Cynka (http://cynkowepoletko.blogspot.nl/search/label/art%20journal)
2. Czekoczyna (http://czekoczyna.blogspot.nl/search/label/art%20journal)
I just can't really make anything nearly as perfect! :P
I love this! What a great idea! So inspiring! I've been wanting to create an "idea" journal. I use to scrapbook a lot, but stopped when I started blogging!-Jessica L
