Memories on canvas: London

Just like I did for my trip to Paris (see post Paper and Paris), I also decided to make a memorie on canvas about my favourite city ever: London!
                        
And don't worry, I didn't make a spellingerror. In Dutch we write London with an 'e'.
It was alot of of fun to make this. I remember walking through London, passing the famous red phonebooths. Or my visit to the Houses of Parliament and seeing the English flag waving at the top. Beautiful memories!

Circus in town

From wednesday to sunday we had some special visitors in our local park. Circus Renaissance, a circus with artists from all over the world! All their trailers were set up next to the very big tent.

I took my camera with me to see the animals that have travelled with them. On the news it said that there were three baby tigers! So ofcourse I just had to see them. Acces to the animals was surprisingly easy. You could just step onto the trailerpark and the animals were there, in their cages. I know this is, for alot of people, a very sensitive subject. It is the same for me. I am a big animal lover and it always hurts me to see wild animals in cages. But when I got there, the tigers seemed content and defenitely looked great. I am not an expert ofcourse, but it is a hope that maybe they don't seem to mind being there?! I will always feel a bit devided about it.

Putting all those emotions aside, I still was very much in awe with these beautiful creatures!!

There was also a beautiful elephant on the grounds, who was equally impressive.

Seeing these gorgeous animals and all the artists in their oufits walking around waiting for their moment in the show. Somehow that way of life fascinates me. Travelling around the world, performing for people and making them happy with your show. I have been a balletdancer for 13 years, so I kind of know what that sensation feels like. I can't help but be intrigued by it.

Mini pancakes, easy recipe!

When I found this recipe online I actually thought,"Hey, I can do this!". These mini pancakes look so delicious! They are prepared in a cupcake/muffintin and you can add any topping you want. That I just have to try. Let me know if you are going to make these and how they turn out!

The Hobbit!

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! I am soooo excited for The Hobbit movie coming up in december. I have been waiting for this movie for years and now the time is almost there! Today director Peter Jackson revealed this beautiful poster and got me even more excited (if that is even possible)!
Is is december already???!!

Petting zoo

Yesterday I took a short biketrip with my dad. The weather was so nice so we went to the park where I took some pictures of the animals in the petting zoo. I especially love the big pig taking a mud bath! It is said that mud is very good for your skin, so maybe she is having a welness break!

Summer outfit: Coral

Doesn't this outfit just scream summer?! I love the coral and green colours! Makes me happy just seeing it. Can't wait to have a proper summer here in Holland!

Cute buys/ Great finds

I love it when I find something in the shops that is just the cutest, greatest, awesome-est thing (could be a purse/dress/ring, you het the idea) EVER! In this entry I would like to share two of those buys with you. To start, this adorable wallet that I bought at Accesorize in London. It's actually for kids, but I guess I am a kid at heart! I love the soft colours and just the overall cuteness.

Back home from London I saw this awesome necklace (also from Accesorize) and just had to have it. What a great and cute thing to remind me of London every time I wear it!
